Phase 1: Nurturing Hearts

Program Objectives: Establishing Foundational Emotional Resilience

  • Develop self-awareness and emotional intelligence.
  • Practice basic communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • Build trust and empathy within the group setting.

Key Activities

  • Journaling Prompts

Expected Outcomes & Metrics

  • Emotional Safety & Trust: By the end of Phase 1, at least 90% of participants will report feeling “comfortable” or “very comfortable” sharing thoughts/feelings with the group (measured via a brief pre/post session survey).
  • Communication Skill Adoption: 85% of participants will demonstrate the ability to use an “I-feel” statement correctly in a role-play scenario (assessed by facilitator observation rubric).
  • Empathy Development: 80% of participants will correctly define “empathy” and cite one real-life example during the group discussion (verified by facilitator checkmark sheet).


Phase 2: Self-Improvement

Program Objectives: Advancing Personal Growth and Adaptive Coping

  • Self-esteem and positive self-concept.
  • Introduce goal-setting frameworks to promote accountability.
  • Coping mechanisms for stress and adversity.
  • Emotional-regulation techniques.

Expected Outcomes & Metrics

  • Self-Esteem Increase: By the end of Phase 2, at least 85% of participants will report a measurable increase in self-esteem (pre/post survey). 
  • Reduced Stress Responses: 80% of participants will demonstrate improved coping (e.g., correctly applying one mindfulness exercise) in role-play scenarios.
  • Improved Emotion Regulation: Post-assessment will show 70% of participants can identify at least three healthy stress-management techniques and report using them at least once outside of sessions.

Phase 3: Growth & Leadership

Program Objectives: Driving Leadership Excellence and Collective Impact

  • Cultivate leadership skills such as decision-making, delegation, and accountability.
  • Strengthen teamwork through collaborative problem-solving challenges.
  • Encourage civic engagement and community responsibility.
  • Build conflict-resolution strategies for group dynamics.

Expected Outcomes & Metrics

  • Leadership Skill Development: 80% of participants will be able to articulate two distinct leadership styles (assessed by facilitator quiz) and identify which one fits their personality.
  • Civic Engagement Plan Completion: 70% of participants will design and commit to a mini community-outreach project plan (tracked via planning worksheet submission).
  • Conflict-Resolution Proficiency: Following role-play simulations, 85% of participants will successfully demonstrate at least two conflict-resolution strategies (e.g., active listening + I-statements) during a debrief exercise.

Phase 4: Career Readiness

Program Objectives: Strategic Career and Financial Empowerment

  • Help participants identify personal strengths, interests, and transferable skills.
  • Provide structured exploration of career pathways and training options.
  • Teach resume-writing fundamentals and interview-preparation techniques.
  • Introduce basic financial literacy concepts (budgeting, saving, credit).

Key Activities

  • Strengths Assessment:

Expected Outcomes & Metrics

  • Career Exploration Engagement: 75% of participants will research and summarize two potential career pathways (tracked via a short written or verbal report).
  • Interview-Readiness: 80% of participants will correctly answer at least 4 out of 5 common interview questions (measured during mock interview debrief).
  • Basic Budgeting Competency: 85% of participants will create a sample monthly budget allocating at least 10% to savings and correctly categorize living expenses (assessed via Budget Breakdown worksheet).
