Yahweh’s Hands and Feet, Inc.

To ensure all clothing donations are useful, safe, and distributed with dignity to the individuals and families we serve.

We gladly accept:

• Season-appropriate clothing (new or gently used, clean, and free of stains or tears)
• Children’s, teen, and adult clothing in wearable condition
• New socks, undergarments, and sleepwear (must be unopened and in original packaging)
• Shoes in good condition (pairs only, no excessive wear or damage)
• Coats, jackets, and cold-weather gear (during fall/winter campaigns).

For the dignity of our recipients and safety standards, we cannot accept:

• Torn, stained, dirty, or heavily worn clothing
• Used undergarments, socks, or sleepwear
• Clothing with odors (smoke, mildew, pet, or chemical)
• Items with holes, broken zippers, or missing buttons
• Hazardous items (e.g., items with mold, pests, or contamination).

1. Condition – Please wash clothing before donating. Items must be in “ready-to-wear” condition.
2. Sorting – If possible, sort by size, gender, or season to assist our volunteers.
3. Packaging – Place donations in bags or boxes that can be easily lifted.
4. Drop-off – Donations can be delivered during designated hours/events. Please do not leave items outside our building.
5. Large Donations – For bulk or corporate donations, please schedule in advance so we can prepare storage and distribution.

At certain times of the year (e.g., Back-to-School Drive or Winter Warmth Campaign), we may request specific clothing types. These requests take priority over general donations.

Yahweh’s Hands and Feet Inc. reserves the right to respectfully decline any donation that does not meet our standards or exceeds current storage capacity.

Receipts for tax purposes are available upon request at the time of donation.

The purpose of this policy is to provide clear guidelines regarding the scope and limits of financial assistance offered through Yahweh’s Hands and Feet Inc. We are committed to serving families and individuals in need with dignity, accountability, and transparency.

• Assistance is provided based on need, availability of resources, and alignment with the mission of Yahweh’s Hands and Feet Inc.
• All support is distributed equitably and with respect for the dignity of each recipient.
• Our goal is to address immediate needs while encouraging long-term stability and empowerment.

1. Food Assistance

• We do not provide direct monetary assistance for groceries or food purchases.
• Instead, Yahweh’s Hands and Feet Inc. will:
  • Shop for grocery items on behalf of approved clients, or
  • Arrange for groceries to be delivered directly to the client’s residence.
• This ensures that donated funds are used responsibly and that assistance directly meets the client’s needs.

2. Clothing & Essential Goods

• Clothing, hygiene products, and other essential household items may be provided through our community drives and resource programs.
• Availability is dependent upon donations and program resources at the time of request.

1. Housing Assistance

• Yahweh’s Hands and Feet Inc. does not currently provide direct financial assistance for rent, utilities, or housing needs.
• We recognize housing as a critical need in our community and are committed to expanding into this area when future funding allows.

2. Direct Cash Assistance

• We do not distribute cash directly to clients under any circumstance.
• All assistance must be provided in the form of goods, services, or approved vendor payments.

As Yahweh’s Hands and Feet Inc. continues to grow and secure additional funding, we intend to expand our scope of financial assistance. Areas under consideration for future development include housing support and broader emergency relief initiatives.

Yahweh’s Hands and Feet Inc. reserves the right to review each request individually and to approve, modify, or decline assistance based on available resources, organizational capacity, and alignment with program guidelines.
